The staf were friendly and quite helpful. The outdoor pool was nice, with good poolside furniture. The room had a newer bathroom.
Mostly the room - I asked for a non-smoking room, and this definitely was not it. The room reeked. Mostly in the bedding, I think. The mattress was oversoft,as in it was ready for a change. For the money ($80.00USD/night) I expected a little better - like a flat screen tv, that should be standard in any hotel room by now. I was not impressed with the breakfast; even though I arrived well within the posted time, there was no buffet in site. I had to order from a waiter who brought coffee, 2 slices white toast and much later, a couple of very rubbery eggs. All for 33 SAR, about $9,00. I would only stay here as a last resort, if I was really broke. Not the kind of room you would care to linger in: too pokey and again, the off-putting odor of stale smoke.
